Town2Town The Label
In the words of Vivienne Westwood who said “buy less and choose well,” our vision was born.
Our aim is to provide quality clothing at affordable prices that is ethically sourced and made. So we have
joined the slow fashion trend to create bespoke garments that are unique because they are handmade
We believe women can look and feel absolutely fantastic, if they have the right fit in clothing. We came
up with the idea of these wrap pants because we wanted a garment that would always fit no matter what.
Our business is only small because it takes time to source fabric and ethically make beautiful garments.
We want to provide only the best we possibly can in quality fabric and “workwomanship”. Now there is a
new word we like. We are recyclers/upcyclers and environmental avengers and are working towards 100% sustainable fabrics and hope to have a full range shortly.
Our mother daughter team is something we are proud of, we both enjoy fashion and creating garments. Jill has over 50 years experience creating beautiful one of a kind designs. We both have our strengths and mine is the seamstress and Rachel is the IT guru. We both have creative minds and work up our ideas for the brand and absolutely love bringing our fashion to you. We hope you enjoy wearing our garments as much as we love creating them for you.
Our fashion is slow fashion. We create affordable quality clothing that is sustainable, ethically sourced and handmade in Australia. Our attention to detail and quality is our uppermost goal. Ultimately our aim is to source high quality sustainable fabrics from ethical suppliers that will ensure our business is run with thought and care for the world’s future. We believe mass produced garments are not in keeping with fashion as an art.
To have one of our garments will ensure that you will be wearing it for a long time as it was made to last and will not end up as landfill. To have a bespoke garment is something special and we want to encourage women to wear their beautiful clothes a lot more and not be pressured too always have something new.
We are currently working on a new range using bamboo and linen and hope to have a new line out soon.
